Sugarworld.gr is an online store selling products and services via the Internet, created by "ALIPRANTIS LTD", which is based in Hellinikon of Attica, at 16 Komninon Street, and is legally formed since 1990 with ΑΡ.ΓΕΜΗ: 2207401000 and VAT number 095736490. Main e-mail address is info@sugarworld.gr and telephone numbers are 210 9603114 and 210 9634671.
Any user who enters and uses the services of the online store is considered to accept all terms stated in this section, without any exception. Users who do not agree with these terms, must not use the online store.
Order completion means automatic acceptance of this Agreement and all of its terms.
All products marketed by SUGARWORLD - ALIPRANTIS LTD comply with the European Union regulations and meet the relevant safety rules applied. During order completion, the customer declares acceptance of all terms and condition of this aggrement, as well as payment and shipping methods.
There is possibility of inaccuracies and/or errors about general information and product information on the website, for which SUGARWORLD - ALIPRANTIS LTD has no responsibility. However, we are committed to isntantly corrent any inaccuracies reported and we guarantee that we continuously work to eliminate such incidents.
SUGARWORLD - ALIPRANTIS LTD reserves the right to:
A. Make improvements and/or modifications to all services, products and/or software provided on this website
B. Change or delete users’ usernames and passwords
C. Cease providing any service and/or software, as well as delete any information or material provided or posted by a user at any time without notice, mainly but not exclusively for reasons regarding functionality and security.
D. Use suggestions or information made available by users-members in any way but always in allignment with all appropriate legal frameworks (such as personal data protection).
Terms of Use modifications
Sugar World reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions about using the Site at any time and without notice. Modifications, additions or deletions to the terms and conditions are put into effect immediately, after posting them on the Site. The use of the webpage means automatic consent and acceptance of all modifications, additions or deletions. It is therefore recommended to read Terms of Use regularly in order to notified about any changes.
Copyright
Logos and trademarks of SUGARWORLD - ALIPRANTIS LTD and EASY-ICE that appear on the Site are intellectual property of the company, while all logos and trademarks of other brands are property of other companies.
Design and content of the website, including trademarks, logos, texts, graphics, images, photographs and software, are property of SUGARWORLD - ALIPRANTIS and are protected by Greek and International Laws. Any copy, analogue or digital recording and mechanical reproduction, distribution, transfer, download, processing, resale, creation of derivative work or misleading the public about the actual Provider of the content of the Site is prohibited. Any reproduction, re-publishing, upload, transmission or any other use of the content in any way or medium for commercial or other purposes is permitted only upon prior written permission from SUGARWORLD – ALIPRANTIS LTD. The appearance of the above content on the website may in no way be construed as permission, license or right to be used by third parties.
Limitation of Liability
· Any information posted and referenced to regarding products’ specification displayed is always in accordance with information and instructions we have received from the Manufacturer.
· Sugar World - Aliprantis takes care of the proper operation of the Site and the accuracy of its content. However, we cannot guarantee that the Site may not be infected by viruses.
· Sugar World – Aliprantis may at any time alter, suspend or discontinue any particular function/section of the Site, including availability or description of a product or service.
· Sugar World - Aliprantis draws user's attention to the possibility that access to the Site may be suspended or interrupted for reasons or problems related to hosting servers.
· For bank transactions, Sugar World - Aliprantis has formed a secure environment using SSL by working with recognized financial institutions in Greece and abroad. Any issues occured during a transaction is solely the responsibility of the Istitute and the user.
· During purchase, the Buyer takes responsibility of the legal use of credit/debit cards. Sugar World - Aliprantis is not responsible for improper use of these cards.
· It is not the responsibility of Sugar World - Aliprantis to cover third party claaims for misrepresentation or duplication of this page by unauthorized parties who have violated intellectual and/or commercial rights of Sugar World – Aliprantis.
· In the Site, there may be links that transfer the user to third-party sites. It is stated that Sugar World - Aliprantis is not in any way responsible for the content of these links or for any loss or damage caused to the user by browsing these pages.
User Liability
The user accepts to use this Site in accordance with law and morality. The user also:
- Accepts no publication or transmission of content in forms that are unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene or in any way contrary to moralily or violates privacy of another person, shows empathy or expresses racial, national and other discrimination, or can cause harm to minors in any way.
- Accepts to avoid any action thatviolates a patent, trademark, business secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of third parties.
- Confirms not to use files or programs designed to interrupt, damage or destroy the operation of software or hardware, or even collect or store personal data of other users. The User takes responsibility for any damage used by malicious or improper use.
In any of the above breaches, Sugar World - Aliprantis LTD reserves the right to delete the unauthorized user and take any action in accordance with EU law. Claims for any potential damage caused by the User are not excluded.
In any case, and in respect to all information stated in our Terms of Use, the User is allowed to inform third parties by e-mail or via social media about products or services available through the Site..
Applicable law
SugarWorld – Aliprantis LTD Terms of Use are governed by Greek law, European Union law and relevant international treaties.
SHIPPING METHODS
Product shipments can be scheduled anywhere within Greek Territory and Cyprus. Products will be shipped to the Shipping Address, filled by the Customer in the appropriate field upon completion of the order, or to one of the registered addresses in case a registration has been made.
You can choose a Shipping Method among the following:
1. Default Courier Company. Delivery times are 1-2 business days for Attica and 2-3 business days for all other areas in Greece, from the date your order leaves our premises. SugarWorld – Aliprantis has an established partnership with ELTA - Porta Porta Courier Company for all deliveries.
2. Collection from our premises, during the following days and hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:00 to 16:00
Saturday: 8:00 to 14:00
The following Shipping Methods are available only for Wholesale Customers:
3. Courier Company of your choice. Within 2 days of the order’s confirmation, the Customer’s Courier Company must contact SugarWorld - Aliprantis so order’s collection can be arranged. The overall value of the order can either be paid to SugarWorld - Aliprantis by the customer, or by the courier company during pickup. Delivery costs are due to be agreed between the Customer and the Courier Company.
4. Delivery to transport company of your choice. The transport company must be based within the wider area of Athens city centre. Valid for orders of at least 25 € net value (excluding VAT). V
5. Delivery to your site. Valid for Wholesale Customers based in Attica, and for orders of at least 25€ net value (excluding VAT).
Shipping costs with Default Courier Company are:

8.1 to 15 kg | 6.50 €
15.1+ kg | 8.00 €
Rest of Greece
0.1 to 8 kg | 4.50 €
8.1 to 15 kg | 9.00 €
15.1+ kg | 10.00 €
The above pricing does not include VAT 24%.
In addition, SugarWorld - Aliprantis is stating:
- In cases where the total order weight exceeds 15kg, SugarWorld - Aliprantis may change the shipping method from Courier to Transport Company. In this case, cost and delivery terms remain the same for the Customer.
- The cost of transport is payable by the Customer and is included in the final cost of the order.
- For shipments to islands and not easily accessible areas delivery times may change, according to administration and timeline of the courier company.
- For shipments to Cyprus, we will proceed with further communication regarding shipping costs.
Free Shipping
- Valid only for retail customers and orders of at least 80 € net value (excluding VAT). Shipping Address can be anywhere within Greece.
- In case of Free Shipping, shipping method is chosen by SugarWorld – Aliprantis.
Delivery
At delivery of products via courier or transport company, we advise all customers to check:
1. If the number of items delivered corresponds to the number of items on the invoice
2. If the names or codes of the products on the packaging are the same as those on the invoice
3. If the parcel(s) or the product(s) have been damaged in any way
Any damage or loss regarding package(s) or product(s) should be reported immediately. Communication with SugarWorld - Aliprantis customer service center via phone or email is necessary in order to report damage or loss.. Damage needs to be documented with photographs in digital format. SugarWorld – Aliprantis will handle such incidents and replace the products if needed.
Delivery rejection
If the Customer does not accept the delivery, then the order will return to SugarWorld – Aliprantis and the Customer will be charged for the corresponding shipping cost only.
Force majeure
SugarWorld - Aliprantis is not responsible for delays in the execution of the order (including delivery) due to force majeure. Indicative examples include strikes, weather conditions, supplier/transport/production issues, etc.
RETURN POLICY
If the Customer wishes to withdraw from the purchase, he/she reserves the right to return the product(s) within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery. In this case, the cost of returning the product(s) will be paid by the customer.
For safety and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of edible products, unless the product(s) can be proved to be defective.
The Customer also has the right to return the products and request replacement in the following cases:
- In all cases the Customer can prove SugarWorld - Aliprantis delivered products other than those ordered or invoiced.
- In all cases the Customer can prove that product(s) delivered are defective.
In both cases above, the replacement request must be written and within three (3) business days of receiving the product. The cost of return is fully covered by SugarWorld – Aliprantis.
In all cases of product(s) return, the items to be replaced must be accompanied by the necessary documents. In addition, the products to be replaced should be in the condition received by the customer, complete and undamaged, in their original packaging and in an excellent condition, documents accompanying the product included. In any other case the return will not be accepted and the customer will be charged with re-dispatching costs.
